Description
De Coronis wine is a single blend of Merlot grapes selected from the historical vineyards of “Villa Coronis”, today knows as “Podere Corone”.
The production never exceeds 40q of grapes per hectare on a surface of 5 hectares.
This wine is produced only during the best vintages, in a very limited number of bottles.

Vinification | The grapes are processed at controlled temperature between 25° and 28°c. Maceration lasts 15-18 days. |
Ageing and affination | The wine is kept in small French oak barrels (Tonneaux) for 16 months, were MLF takes place. Once bottled the wine undertakes at least 7/9 months in our thermo ventilated cellar. |

Nose | red mature fruits with vivid notes of plum, violet, dark spices and ripe black cherries. |
Taste | fresh and round with moderate tannins. Well balance with a silky finish. |
Best with | game meat, filled pasta with rich sauces, wild boar stew, mature Pecorino cheese |
