Description
This wine is a blend of Sangiovese and Merlot grapes from diverse areas of our Estate with various exposures and altitudes and a soil rich in sand and clay.
Our attention goes to the vines in order to archive a wine expression of our territory.
Grapes are picked separately once the phenolic phases are completed.

Vinification | The grapes are processed at a controlled temperature between 25° and 28°c. Maceration lasts 12-15 days with repeated plunge down of the cap. |
Ageing and affination | The wine is kept in small French oak barrels for 12 months, follow by 5-6 months of affination in bottle at 15/16°c in our thermo ventilated cellar. |

Nose | small berries aroma, curry, dark spices and liquorice, with balsamic notes, tobacco and vanilla. |
Taste | tannins and acidity are well balanced to offer a wine rich and full at the palate. |
Best with | grilled meat, barbecue and succulent dishes. Ideal with mature Italian cheeses |
