ORVIETO CLASSICO SUPERIORE DOC

The estate is located in one of the oldest areas of the Orvieto DOC classification and can therefore proudly add the term “Classico” on its labels. The term “Superiore” indicates the value and quality of this classification. The estate’s biotype of Grechetto, a grape variety that is the quintessence of local white wine tradition, is particularly noteworthy for its marked and original characteristics. This variety is strongly present in the Orvieto blend, but is also produced in purity.

LAGO DI CORBARA DOC

Castello di Corbara winery falls entirely within the territory of the Lago di Corbara DOC classification, a label in whose potential the winery has always believed, actively supporting its establishment in 1997. This line of action was adopted to give due recognition to the local biotype of Sangiovese, part of the region's history since the 1970s.

Thanks to the extension and variety of the estate’s territory, Castello di Corbara was blessed with the rare fortune of being able to choose the perfect environment for each grape variety. This allows each biotype to reach full expression of its characteristics, carried all the way into the glass as unique gustatory impressions.
